I like to plant vegetables mixed in the regular flower beds outside in the garden. I was delighted to find the onion bloom that day and had to cut it so I could add it to the group in this painting. I used the onion for dinner! The snail planter is an beloved pot which I inherited from my husband's great-grandmother. She had an amazing garden up until she was 100, Yep, she actually lived to 106!
