A few weeks ago, I went out to the back yard one morning to collect some red and purple flowers for the painting I wanted to do that day but in the end it was the peony leaves that I fell in love with! They were starting to rust at the edges and I just loved that!! So many times we don’t need flowers to be at their peak for them to be interesting subjects!
