Fields of Hope
In the lower mainland (this is what we islanders call Vancouver and surrounding areas), on the way from the ferry terminal to the city there are many blueberry and cranberry farms visible right from the highway. In the fall, when the leaves start turning red in the blueberry bushes, the fields these these very rich hues of red, purple, pinks and oranges that always delight me.
